My Oh My, Avocado Pie!

So, for all of you who missed out on our last meeting we had a little potluck and guess what Faith brought for breakfast - Avocado Pie! Ohmmmygoodness, it was pure goodness....
A little conversation about growing Avocados in Texas followed and we all cried a little bit over the fact that they could not grow here.

Well Faith found an article about growing Avocados that gave her a little faith -hehe- that maybe Avocados can be local! Here it is folks, brought to you by the Austin American Statesman: www.austinchronicle.com/food/208-08-01/653763

Delish!

If you want to join in on the fun, we are meeting tomorrow at 5:30 to plan the dig-in. Just email newdaycommunitygarden@gmail.com for more info. Applications for plots still being accepted!
